There are plenty of things for you to enjoy in the local area.

Opposite our pub is a Norman Church with a Saxon Crypt.

For the keen walkers we are located directly on the East Devon Way and just three miles from the East Devon Coastal path and the sea at Sidmouth. There are miles upon miles of quiet roads for the cyclists and there are several golf courses within a 15 mile radius. Deep sea fishing is available from the old smuggling village of Beer.

We are in easy reach of the Regency town of Sidmouth with excellent bus services to and from which runs from 7am until 11.30pm seven days a week. The old market town of Honiton is just six miles away with its street market on Tuesday and Saturday every week.

Famous for its fossils, the seaside resort of Lyme Regis is 15 miles along the coast.

We are located 11 miles away from the motorway and Exeter Airport for your convenience.

There is plenty of on-street and off-street parking and there is a free public car park 200 yards away.
